Ursula Seckel Mosaic

COMMUNITY MOSAIC

What if one small action could influence everyone within a community, and every overlapping community after that? Let’s find out! This mural will be created with all sorts of items we often dispose of without much thought. Single use plastics like plastic utensils and container lids, cardboard cereal boxes, leaky garden hoses, plastic bags, old doors, and other discarded items we’ll be collecting from the community. Help the artist, Ursula Seckel, create a vibrant ripple effect through a playful use of unconventional art materials.

FREE LITTLE ART GALLERY

Building on the concept of Free Little Libraries, a Free Little Art Gallery (FLAG) offers a public venue for sharing tiny artworks in an accessible, outdoor structure. Leave a tiny artwork you’ve made or choose something that speaks to you and let it brighten your day. Since its launch in 2023, Free Little Art Gallery, Arlington has featured art from local, national, and international artists.

For more information, follow the gallery on instagram (@freelittleartgallery_arlington) or stop by and visit: 965 N. Longfellow St., Arlington, Va. 22205.
